Davao City – A national government official bared yesterday that the 2014 budget would focus on poverty alleviation, and creation of more job opportunities for the poor people in the country. In a press briefing here, Secretary Sonny Coloma of the Presidential Communications Operations Office said the government would prioritize the poverty stricken provinces in terms of budget allocations. “We are more concerned in having more job opportunities for the poor people, and reduce the poverty status of the country,” he explained.
