The Parañaque City government announced yesterday that it will hold its first job fair for this year on Feb.7 at the Event Center of SM City Sucat from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Mayor Florencio Bernabe said the job fair, which is being sponsored by the city’s Livelihood Resource Management Office, will be dubbed as “Asenso Parañaque Job Fair 2012.”
Bernabe said job applicants are advised to come in appropriate attire.
He said applicants must also bring their résumé and other necessary documents such as copies of transcript of records and diploma; clearances from past employers, the local police and NBI; and recently taken ID photos, among others.
“Improving livelihood prospect is a top priority agenda in my administration. We continue to make gains in this area by providing skills training; generating jobs; organizing cooperatives; and creating community-based income-generating projects,” Bernabe said.
