  October 4, 2011: Bataan towns get livelihood aid

Mariveles, Bataan – livelihood and relief assistance have reached ambulant vendors and typhoon-affected residents of this municipality and its neighboring areas of Limay and Morong. A project pushed by the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) in Central Luzon, the “Negosyo sa Kariton Project” is fully supported here by Mayor Jesse I. Concepcion who joined DoLE Regional Director Leopoldo B. De Jesus in distributing the P100,000 livelihood assistance to ambulant vendors. In Limay, Mayor Ver Roque distributed relief goods to typhoon-stricken residents. DoLE also partnered with Roque and Morong Mayor Cynthia L. Estanislao for the distribution of livelihood cash checks worth P100,000 for each recipient in their respective towns.
