Purposes of data processing

The purposes of processing are the performance of the following tasks by the controller: technical realization and support of the padaCura app as well as the web application to enable the activities within the padaCura project. This project aims to find out at an early stage whether a person is likely to lose his or her ability to work either partially or fully. With the padaCura app as well as the web application, users can receive an assessment of their health promotion needs. Based on the results, support options are developed with the project participants.

Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for data processing is given in particular by Art. 6 para. 1 p. a GDPR as well as by Art. 9 para. 2 p. a GDPR – explicit consent of the data subject to the processing of personal data concerning him/her for one or more specific purposes. Only data necessary for the use of the services offered in a personal account is collected here. Indication of first and last name (personal salutation), email (identifying feature, enabling support, e.g. in case of forgotten password), and password (logging in to the applicant account) is necessary. This data will not be disclosed or transmitted to third parties under any circumstances.

Types of personal data collected

Master data incl. contact data (e.g. last name, first name, date of birth, email address, username, and password), customer contact documentation, questionnaire data including health data, service data of the employment agents or case managers/coaches.

Categories of data subjects

Persons affected by data processing: app as well as web application users and the employees of the respective job center.

Cookies

Due to technical reasons, we use temporary cookies (i.e. identifiers that a web server can send to your terminal, also known as session cookies), which control your connection to our servers during the session. These cookies are automatically deleted when you leave the app or web application, so data is not permanently stored on your terminal or computer. The processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 p. f GDPR and §25 para. 2, no. 2 TTDSG (The Act on the Regulation of Data Protection and Privacy in Telecommunications and Telemedia) (is done to optimize or enable the user guidance and to customize the app or web application). You can set your terminal or web browser so that it informs you about the placement of cookies. This makes the use of cookies transparent for you. However, we would like to point out that the functionality of the service will be impaired if you do not accept the session cookies. No analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics etc.) are used to evaluate user behavior.

Use of the collected data

We always collect only the data that is absolutely necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose. You can be sure that the data is only used for the purpose for which it is meant to be used.

Data security

Data storage: We use technical and organizational security measures to protect your data managed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. However, if data is lost through no fault of our own (e.g. as a result of natural disasters), we assume no liability.

Data transfer: We also use the currently available security measures (encryption) when transferring your data to protect it from unauthorized access. No liability can be assumed by us for the actual data transmission success via the Internet, as, for instance, local Internet providers are responsible for ensuring that access to the Internet is possible.
