We aim to provide you with services, for which you can be sure that the personal data you provide will be processed in strict confidence and for the intended purpose, and that it is always you who decides on disclosure and transfer to third parties. You entrust us with your personal data, and we reliably protect it in compliance with legal requirements.

Here, we will provide you with detailed information about what data we collect and store on which occasion, why we do it, and how this data is used. Except for the option of creating an individual applicant account in MYjobNEWS, no personal data are required when using the JobZENTRALE. In the online board, your private information and personal data provided in MYjobNEWS are collected and stored with the utmost care and integrity and used only for the intended purpose.

Storage of the IP address

The IP address transmitted by web browsers is stored strictly for detecting, limiting, and eliminating attacks on these web pages for a maximum period of seven days. After this period, the IP address will be deleted or anonymized. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 p. f GDPR.

Usage data

Every time a file is requested from this website, access data is temporarily stored. Each data set consists of the following:
-the name of the file
-the date and time of the request
-the amount of data transferred
-the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
-the description of the type of web browser used
-the IP address of the requesting computer
The stored data is analyzed exclusively for statistical purposes. Their transfer to third parties, even in the form of extracts, does not take place.

Cookies

Due to technical reasons, we use temporary cookies (i.e. identifiers that a web server can send to your computer, also known as session cookies) to control your connection to our websites during the session. These cookies are automatically deleted when you leave the service, so no data is stored on your computer. The processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 p. f GDPR and in the interest of optimizing or enabling user guidance and customizing our website. However, we would like to point out that the functionality of the service will be impaired if you do not accept the session cookies.

If you allow all cookies, we will use Google's external tools (Google Maps) in addition to technically necessary temporary cookies to enable you to search for jobs on the interactive Google map in the JobMAPS tab. We set these cookies based on your consent given in the cookie banner. If you only allow technically necessary temporary cookies, the use of JobMAPS will not be possible. You can change the cookie settings at any time to use the job search on the interactive map.

Newsletter

We offer you the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter on our website. If you have given us special consent to inform you by email about job offers that are suitable for you on a daily basis, the corresponding processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 p. a GDPR. However, this is also only permissible based on consent. You can revoke your consent at any time without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out so far. If consent is revoked, we will stop the corresponding data processing. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter in the future, you can unsubscribe at any time, e.g. by sending an email to info@jobnet.ag or by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided in every newsletter email.

Google Maps

We embed map services on our web pages that are not stored on our servers. To ensure that visiting our web pages with embedded map services does not automatically result in content from the third-party provider being loaded, we only display locally stored preview images of the maps at first. Thus, the third-party provider does not receive any information.

The content of the third-party provider is only loaded if you click the consent button in the cookie banner. This provides the third-party provider with the information that you have accessed our site as well as the usage data technically required in this context. We have no influence on further data processing by the third-party provider. By clicking on the preview image, you give us your consent to load the content of the third-party provider.

The embedding takes place based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 p. a GDPR, if you have previously given your consent by clicking on the consent button in the cookie banner.

Registration and applicant area

If you would like to use the MYjobNEWS service, you have to register for an applicant account beforehand. The lawfulness of the data processing results from Art. 6 para. 1 p. a GDPR based on your consent. We process your data to support and systematize your personal job search and application activities. We only collect data that is required to use the services offered in a personal applicant account. The data will not be disclosed or transferred to third parties under any circumstances.

Based on this and for this purpose, we process your master data incl. contact data (e.g. last name, first name, date of birth, address, email address, phone number, mobile phone number), data on career counseling as well as integration into work (CV, proof of degrees, etc., information about knowledge and skills, driver's license, qualifications, general conditions such as mobility and availability, data on job offers, job applications and, if applicable, feedback from employers, entries from the portal's own calendar and notebook, profiling data). There are both mandatory data (which are marked as such) and optional data.
You can change or delete your profile within the account at any time. The data will then be automatically removed from our system immediately, provided that there are no retention periods or the data is not still required in individual cases (for example, in the case of outstanding claims for the collection of claims).

Data security

We take technical and organizational security measures to protect your data managed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological development.

For example, we use encryption in the entire area of user accounts, i.e. your data is transferred from your computer to our server and vice versa via the Internet in encrypted form. We use our own trustworthy security certificate for this purpose. You can identify the secure data transfer by the fact that the lock symbol on the status bar of your browser is closed and the address bar begins with https://www.... . Pure content texts are transferred unencrypted unless you are already logged in to an account.

Recipients of the personal data

Data processor
We transfer your data to service providers who support us in the operation of this website and related processes as part of processing pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Our service providers are strictly bound by the instructions we issue and are contractually obligated accordingly. We work with the following service providers: Jobcenter Consulting GmbH, Harkortstr. 5, 04107 Leipzig for the design, technical implementation, and support of the website.

Data transfer to other third parties
We only pass on your data to third parties if you wish us to do so. This is the case, for example, if you apply online in response to a job advertisement. In this case, we will pass on information that you have entered in your user account or CV to these companies. This also applies to messages that you send to other users. Therefore, you always have full control over your profile data. You can decide anytime what data or whether your data is passed on to employers. We will not pass on your data to third parties for purposes of advertising, market research, or the like under any circumstances.

Rights: Your rights as a user

When processing your personal data, the GDPR grants you as a user of the website the following rights:

1. Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR):

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed; where that is the case, you have the right to access this personal data and the information specified in Art. 15 GDPR.

2. Right to rectification and erasure (Art. 16 and 17 GDPR):

You have the right to obtain without undue delay rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and, if necessary, to have incomplete personal data completed.

You also have the right to obtain the erasure of personal data concerning you without undue delay if one of the grounds listed in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.

3. Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR):

You have the right to obtain restriction of processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR applies, e.g. if you have objected to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR or for the duration of verification whether our legitimate interests override your interests as a data subject.

4. Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR):

In certain cases, which are listed in Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request that this data be transmitted to a third party.

5. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR):

If data is collected based on Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 p. f GDPR (data processing for the protection of legitimate interests) or based on Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 p. e GDPR (data processing for the protection of public interest or in the exercise of official authority), you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you. Then we will no longer process the personal data unless there are compelling grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

6. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of data concerning you infringes Data Protection Regulation. The right to lodge a complaint can be asserted before a supervisory authority in the Member State of your place of residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling in the sense of making decisions that have legal effects on the data subject or significantly affect the data subject (e.g. as in the case of insurers or credit intermediaries).

Processing of minors' data

The portal is not intended for people under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children and juveniles under the age of 16, and we will delete all such information as soon as a parent or guardian notifies us that we are collecting such information.
