ZAMBOANGA CITY – The Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board has approved an P18 a day increase in the minimum wage of workers in the region. In a statement, ARMM labor secretary Muslimin Jakilan said the new wage rate will take effect this month pending the endorsement of its implementing rules from the regional leadership. The new wage hike brings the minimum wage in ARMM employees to P250. Jakilan said the new wage is effective this month pending the issuance of its implementing rules by the regional leadership.
