The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) disclosed yesterday that its nearly 300 contracts signed in 2013 will generate some 24,000 new jobs this year. Mariza Mandocdoc, CDC vice president for Business Development and Business Enhancement Group, said the CDC was able to secure a $304.98-million worth of investments from the 297 direct and sub-lease contracts it had signed last year. Among the new lease agreements the state-run corporation has signed are with Pishon Clark Phils. Inc. ($4-million investment – 1,500 workers), Prefered & Proven Therapies, Inc. ($8-million investment – 150 workers), Sambon P&E Phils. Corporation ($3-million investment – 600 workers), and Hubble Multisport Inc. ($23,000 investment – four workers), she said.
