TAGUM CITY — The city government here disclosed that its ultimate goal is to make this city a premier business hub, which is friendly to businessmen and investors so as to generate more job opportunities for the Tagumeños. City Mayor Allan Rellon said that it is important for the local government to package the city as a good place for business, citing that it would flourish the economic activity and drum up the employment generation for Tagumeños. The City Council is now finalizing the City Investment Code, which will give a leeway for potential investors. Infrastructure development will also be prioritized by the local government so as to complement its objective of a viable city for business.
