BUTUAN CITY – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-Caraga Region 13) urged employers in the private companies to give the 13th month pay to its employees and workers. The officials of the DOLE regional office also asked the private companies to be compassionate in hard times as some of the immediate relatives of their employees are also victims of the super-typhoon “Yolanda” in Region 8. “Employees who have only worked for few months in a certain company can still receive due amount of their service,” stressed DOLE Region 13 Director Johnson Cañete.
