The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has established the Hotel and Restaurant Industry Tripartite Council of Tarlac (HR-ITCT) in a bid to maintain a harmonious working environment among labor, management, and government in hotel and leisure industry.
In the meeting attended by 35 management and labor representatives, DOLE Tarlac Senior Labor and Employment Officer Ma. Rosini David discussed how to properly handle conflicts and give proper sanctions through investigation while Labor and Employment Officer Allan Tolentino gave an overview of the concept of Tripartism.
"Industrial peace is our primordial concern. Through tripartism, owners, personnel, and government will be able to work closely in addressing labor issues and concerns faced by the hotel and restaurant industry," DOLE Provincial Director Efren Reyes emphasized.
