TACLOBAN CITY, Leyte, (PIA) – An Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Mutual Recognition Agreement (Asean MRA) on Tourism Professional Awareness Seminar is set Nov. 5 at the Oriental Leyte, Palo, Leyte. The seminar will be on the implementation of the Asean MRA on Tourism Professionals (Asean MRA-TP) – a significant component in the Asean Economic Community Integration by 2015, enabling mobility of employment for skilled tourism labor within the region or the movement of tourism professionals among Asean member countries. Once fully integrated in 2015, Asean-certified tourism professionals passing common competency standards can find employment in various sectors of tourism in Asean member countries.
