BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occ. (PIA) – The Negros Occidental provincial government inked a memorandum of agreement with a technical-vocational institute (TVI) providing medical transcription services through the Negros Occidental Language and IT Center (NOLITC). Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. and 3 John-K Scribe Experts Corporation owner Noel John Aguilar signed the agreement at the provincial Capitol, this city to pioneer efforts in providing jobs to NOLITC medical transcription course graduates. NOLITC head Ma. Cristina Basa-Orbecido, said the Center started its MedTrans officer course last August 2013, and the first batch of 25 gradutates will undergo a three-day on-the-job training with the 3John-K Scribe, instead of the usual two to three weeks exposure.
