September 28, 2013: Group Seeking P132 Wage Hike

CEBU CITY – A newly-formed labor organization, which claimed to have more than 2,000 members, said the other day that it was filling a petition to increase the minimum daily wage by P132 at the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) 7. The Living Wage Coalition Cebu, a coalition of 50 labor groups in Cebu and Central Visayas, was formed after labor leaders said their voices could become stronger if all labor unions and federations will come together.
