WESTERN VISAYAS (PIA) — The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has set eight more job fairs for prospective Region VI employees. DOLE Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis Baldoz said the agency is encouraging jobseekers to participate in some 100 job fairs nationwide starting this month, September until December, 2013. Region VI job fairs in October will be held at the Dingle Covered Gym in Dingle Iloilo; and Dumangas Covered Gym, Dumangas, Iloilo; at the Barotac Viejo Covered Gym, Barotac Viejo Iloilo in November; and in December at the DOLE Region VI Office, and Iloilo Provincial Capitol lobby in Iloilo City; Robinson’s Place and the DOLE Negros Occidental field office in Bacolod City, Negros Occ,; San Jose, Antique; and Boracay Island, Malay Aklan and the DOLE Aklan field office in Kalibo in December.
