Mactan, Cebu — Industry leaders in the country’s contact center industry and the government is determined to put concrete steps on addressing the long-standing issue of hiring qualified English proficient manpower in the Philippine information technology-business process management (IT-BPM) industry. “Even with this hyper growth trend that the Philippine contact center industry is experiencing, hiring more quality talent remain a top issue,” said Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) President Benedict Hernandez at the recent 9th International Contact Center Conference and Expo (ICCCE) at the Shangrila-La Mactan Resort and Spa.
