Surigao City – The government’s cash for training and employment program continue to benefit the Caraganons after another batch of trainees in Surigao del Norte completed their training, the Region-13 office of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA-13) said yesterday.
The 368 Cash-For-Training Project (C4TP) trainees received their certificates of completion during graduation rites after completing 60 days of rigid training.
They will immediately undergo jobs-bridging activities to facilitate their entry to the various jobs.
The graduates represent about 84.01 percent of the total number of beneficiaries in the province.
“The project is in support to the government’s thrust in providing a sustainable intervention to improve the plight and condition of the youth, and empower them through skills training and assistance towards gainful employment and entrepreneurial activities,” TESDA-13 Director Dr. Florencio F. Sunico Jr. said.
