The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) will drastically change the rules of the employment game and only by improving the quality of Philippine Education can Filipino workers compete successfully in the regional labor market. The ASEAN Framework on Services (AFAS) mandates the free flow of skilled labor within the region 2015, bringing about changes that the country has to prepare for now, said Juan Miguel Luz, dean of the Center for Development Management at Asian Institute of Management.
