BPO solutions provider Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) has committed to double Philippine manpower to 3,000 in 2014 from the current 1,200 employees.
ADP recently launched its new Philippine headquarters right in the heart of Makati’s central business as part of the long-term expansion plan this multinational company.
ADP is hedging its bet on the Philippines as one of the world’s top destinations for BPO solutions.
John Hickey, the general manager of ADP Philippines, has cited the country’s fast-rising economy and the robust BPO landscape.
Hickey said that ADP envisions a win-win solution by setting up a larger investment footprint in the country and strengthen its market position in Asia through its expanded Philippine operations.
Hickey also vowed to create more jobs for Filipinos as part of its partnership with President Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III’s “Matuwid na Daan” policy of economic development.
ADP serves about 600,000 organizations across 125 countries, over 80 percent of which are Fortune 500 companies. ADP itself is a Fortune 500 company, with nearly $11 billion in revenues in the last fiscal year.
