Olongapo City – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) along with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) conducted a jobs fair yesterday at the 5th level Carpark of SM City Olongapo. Jobseekers from Olongapo and nearby provinces flocked the jobs fair dubbed as “Manggagawang Pilipino: Handa sa Hamon ng Makabagong Panahon.” The jobs fair aims to lessen the unemployment rate of the country and gives jobseekers easier access to job vacancies from employers here.The PESO stated that there are 74 local and overseas employers that offered vacant positions in yesterday’s jobs fair, while SM City and its tenants also participated in the jobs fair.
