About 7,648 students have been enrolled in the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) in Caloocan since the local government has implemented the program, a city hall official said yesterday. This year, 1,190 students have been benefited from the SPES, a program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) that is implemented by the local government to be able to help the youth earn a living during vacation. A report to Caloocan City Mayor Enrico "Recom" Echiverri showed, 600 students had came from the Caloocan-South, while 590 from the Caloocan-North.
