Maasin City, Southern Leyte (PIA) - The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Southern Leyte recently conducted a labor education seminar for 40 business entities from Sogod and Libagon towns. "Selected business establishments with less than 10 workers were encouraged to augment labor working conditions to include workers' minimum wage payments, among others," Senior Labor and Employment Officer Marlo Tictic said. He noted that though this type of business establishments were bot among the priority in their labor inspection rounds, they are still subject to labor inspections initiated by DOLE in this province .
