KORONADAL CITY PIA - Some 300 graduating students of the Mindanao Polytechnic College (MPC) in General Santos City were visited by officials of Region -12 office of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA-12) for a briefer on its programs and services. OWWA-12 Director Abdulghani Umag served as the resource speaker in one of the school's pre-employment programs for the graduating batch consisting of marine and non maritime students. Umag emphasized the importance of the Seafarer's Upgrading Program (SUP) to all seafarers who greatly aspire and desire promotion.
