Borongan City, Eastern Samar (PIA) – Sixty persons from Barangay Bugas, this city will benefit from President Benigno S. Aquino’s Cash for Work Program, according to Barangay Bugas chair, Donato Alamin who said the 60 individuals, most of which are farmers and fishermen, will earn P219.00 a day for 11 days of excavating and drainage work in the barangay. “Actually, only for seven days will be allotted for their labor because four days will be given for their training just before the actual work begins,” The Cash for Work Program” in the barangay will start January 10, 2012.
