MAASIN CITY, Southern Leyte (PIA) – the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE)-Southern Leyte Field Office (SLFO) has scheduled this month the release of livelihood formation projects to enable Brngy. Combado fisherfolk to immediately start a livelihood undertaking and become self-employed. Some 48 fisherfolk from said barangay in Maasin City are recipients of the livelihood formation project for small fisherfolk. Project cost is jointly funded and supported by the Maasin City government with 20 percent of total cost to be shouldered by the local government unit.
