The Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) is now awaiting the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to withdraw its certification on the 41 countries with no policy protection for overseas Filipino workers. Undersecretary Danilo Cruz said in an interview yesterday the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) governing board is just waiting for the DFA to submit an official communication withdrawing it previous certification. “If DFA, will withdraw the certification, the POEA governing will also automatically withdraw its resolution ordering the ban,” Cruz said.
