Panabo City (PIA) – The Public Employment Services Office (PESO) here as intensified its program on eradicating job-skills mismatch and on ensuring quality employment down to the grassroots level by updating its Skills Registry System (SRS). City PESO has recently linked an agreement with the regional office of the Department of Labor and Employment in connection with the SRS. The SRS is a live skills register where both employers and employees can respectively advertise their manpower requirements and skills, thereby facilitating job-matching. The city government has committed to mobilize village officials and personnel to assist in the implementation of SRS activities.
