Koronadal City (PIA) – the regional office of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA 12) is inviting overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to avail themselves of its livelihood assistance. OWWA 12 Regional Director Abdulgani Umag said the Balik-Pinays Balik Hanap-buhay program, which it implements with the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE), is open to former and returning OFWs who wish to develop income-generating projects as option to working abroad. Umag said program is an offering of the Philippine government to encourage OFWs to return and stay in the country for good.
