Cebu City – The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) 1 and the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) 7 have reminded employers to implement the P20-increase in daily minimum wage, which will bring the minimum wage in Cebu to P305, or face sanctions. DoLE 7 Director Exequiel Sarcauga said his office will closely monitor business establishments in compliance with the new wage order that raises the daily wage by P20 as the implementation kicked off last Thursday. Sarcauga said they will be inspecting establishments in the entire region.
