Storage of the IP address
The IP address transmitted by the web browser is stored strictly for the intended purpose of making possible to identify, limit and eliminate the attacks on the website for the maximum period of seven days. After this period has elapsed, the IP address is deleted or anonymised. The legal basis for this is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter. f of the GDPR.
Usage data
Every time a file is requested from this website, access data are temporarily saved. Each data record consists of:
-the name of the file
-the date and time of the query
- the amount of data transferred
-the access status (file transferred; file not found etc.)
- the description of the type of web browser used
-the IP address of the requesting computer
The stored data are evaluated exclusively for statistical purposes; they are not passed on to third parties, even in excerpts.
Cookies
For technical reasons, we use temporary cookies (i.e. identifiers that a web server can send to your computer aka session cookies), with which your connection to our websites is controlled during the session. They are automatically deleted when you leave our website; no data are saved on your computer. The data processing takes place based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f of the GDPR and in the interest of optimising or enabling user guidance and adapting how you see our website.
You can set your browser so that it informs you about the placement of cookies. This way, the use of cookies becomes transparent for you. However, we would like to point out that the functionality of the website will be impaired if the session cookies are not accepted.
If you allow all cookies, we will use external tools from Google (Google Maps) in addition to technically necessary temporary cookies to enable you to search for a job on the interactive Google map in the JobMAPS tab. We use these cookies based on your consent. You give your consent by clicking on the cookie banner. If you only allow technically necessary temporary cookies, the use of JobMAPS will not be possible. You can change the cookie settings at any time to use the job search on the interactive map.
Newsletter
We offer you the option of ordering our newsletter on our website.
If you have given us separate consent that we will inform you by e-mail about the current vacancies that are suitable for you, processing will be carried out based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a of the GDPR. However, this is only permitted based on your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing that has taken place so far. If the consent is withdrawn, we will stop the corresponding data processing. If you no longer want to receive a newsletter in the future, you can unsubscribe from it any time either by email to
info@jobnet.ag or via the link to unsubscribe from the newsletter, which you can find in every newsletter email.
Maps and YouTube
On our website, we embed map services and videos that are not stored on our servers. So that calling up our websites with embedded map services and videos does not automatically result in loading the third-party content, we only display locally saved preview images of the maps first. The third-party provider does not receive any information.
The content of the third-party provider will be loaded only after you click on the preview image.
This gives the third-party provider the information that you have accessed our site and the usage data that are required here for technical reasons. We have no influence on further data processing by the third-party provider. By clicking on the preview image, you give us your consent to load the content from the third-party provider.
The embedding takes place based on your consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a of the GDPR, provided you have previously given your consent by clicking on the preview image.
Google / YouTube (USA) have an appropriate level of data protection (Privacy Shield Agreement (Article 45 Paragraph 1 of the GDPR). If you have clicked on a preview image, the content of the third-party provider will be loaded immediately. If you do not want this to happen on other pages, please do not click on the preview images anymore.
Registration and applicant account
If you would like to participate in the MYjobNEWS-Service, you must first register for an applicant account.
The legality of the data processing results from Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the GDPR based on your consent. We process your data for the purpose of supporting and systematising personal job searches and application activities. We only collect data that is necessary to use the services offered in a personal applicant account. The data will not be published under any circumstances and will not be passed on to third parties.
On this basis and for this purpose, we process your core data including contact details (these are, for example: surname, first name, date of birth, address, email address, telephone number, mobile phone number), data on career counselling and integration into workforce (curriculum vitae, qualification and graduation certificates, etc., information on knowledge and skills, driver's license, qualifications, framework conditions such as mobility and availability, data on job offers, job applications and, if necessary, feedback from employers, entries from the portal's own calendar and notebook, profiling data). There are both mandatory (marked as such) and optional items.
You can change or delete your profile at any time within the account. The data will then be automatically removed from our system immediately, provided there are no retention periods or the data is not required in individual cases (e.g. in the case of open claims).
Data security
We take technical and organisational security measures to protect your data, managed by us, against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological development.
For example, we utilise an encryption process in the entire area of user accounts, i.e. your information is encrypted and transmitted from your computer to our server and back via the Internet. For this, we use our own trustworthy security certificate. You can recognise secure data transmission by the fact that the lock symbol on the status bar of your browser is closed and the address line begins with https: // www... Purely text content is transmitted unencrypted, provided you are not yet logged into an account.
Recipients of the personal data
Processor
As part of processing in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR, we transmit your data to service providers who support us in the operation of this website and the related processes. Our service providers strictly follow the instructions and are contractually obliged to do so. Data transfer to other third parties
We only pass on your data to third parties if you wish so. For example, this happens when you apply for a job advertisement online. In this case, we will pass on information that you have entered in your user account or résumé to these companies. This also applies to messages that you send to other users. Therefore, you always have full control over your profile data. You can determine anytime which data (or whether) your data is passed on to employers. We will not pass on your data to third parties for purposes of advertising, market research or the like under any circumstances.
